Uncover the Mystery

The Bantjes millions are a rumoured Dutch inheritance linked to a man with the surname of Bantjes who settled at the Cape of Good Hope in the 1700s. There are various theories about the source of the money; rumours of disinherited heirs and a strange will that called for descendants of Mr Bantjes to come forward to claim the money – a hundred years after his death. 

 

Through research and interviews, we intend to produce a podcast series based on the myth. 

 

Please note that the aim of this series is not to try to claim the money (if it even existed or was real) but to learn more about the facts, fictions and fortune hunters related to this astonishing story.

 

And to put paid once and for all whether there really was a curse on those who tried to claim the money unjustly.
